all the part of present india.
After many generation there was king called Shantanu (hastinapurnaresh) fall in love with Ganga (river of ganga) devi
who killed all 7 sons of them because of some curse of both of them in thier last birth.
Their son named Devrath was very brave.
Once again Shantanu fall in love with satyavati daughter of common man of his kingdom. but he was not able to marry her
because of condition put by her father as next king of hastinapur would be satyavati's son.
Shantanu wasnt ready for this. But Devrath took pledge not to get marry and have own child and gave promise
to her father to follow his condition eventhough shantanu dint like the same.
Then Shantanu blessed him with self wishing death. and he is renamed to Bhishm.
In between , Shantanu found 2 kids(one guy and other girl) unhandled in forest.he took them and given to
rajguru to take care of them. one named kripa ani other one kripi. kripi married to dronacharya.
Satyavati gave birth to 2 kids.Chitrangat and vichitraveer.
Chitrangat killed by his gandharv.

Satyavati had first kid from Rishi before getting marry with shantanu.his name was Munivar Vyas.
She calls to get new king for hastinapur as bhishm dont want to become king as he had taken pledge.
Vyas + Ambika -> Dhratrashtra (blind from birth as ambika closed eyes when she saw vyas first time.)
Vyas + Ambalika -> Pandu ( weak health as amabalika got very much scared when she saw vyas first time.)
Vyas + main female servant -> Vidur ( she dint get scared. )
As DhratRashtras is blind, so he couldnt become next king of hastinapur so the King Pandu.
Dhratrashtra gets marry with gandhari.
And Pandu gets marry with Kunti (earlier name was pritha).Before Kunti gets marry to pandu, she was in the service of Rishi(sage) Duravasa.
Durvasa please with her service.Durvasa gave her magical spell sothat she can call any god to see her.she called Suryadev. and he gave her blessing
to have one son named Karna.she left kid in river bhagirath.
Pandu's second wife name is Madri. she came in life of pandu while he was extending his border of his state.recieved
madri as a gift from one of kingdom called madra.
Vidur became prime minister in pandu's cabinet.
Once pandu goes to forest to rest by leaving kingdom's liablity to dhratrashtra.In mean time, Shakuni tried to dilute the love between
brothers using him.At forest time, Pandu had an accident and he killed Sage Kindam who cursed him that he would be without lineage of him.
As a result, he pronounce sentence to himself that he would renounce the world as penance. And Pandu leave the kingdom to dhratarashta.
To get rid of kindam curse, Kunti use duravasa spell to call upon Lord Dharmraj.He gave them a child name yudhishthir.
Yudhishthir - man of ethics and truth.
Then she call upon lord wind. and get Bhim.
At the same time, Gandhari gave birth to Duryodhan.
At other side, Kans's (son of King Ugrasen - King of mathura) atrocities had crossed all bounds.
Kans admitted his father in jail to become next king and Vasudev,his friend, asked to marry his
sister devaki and honour her as 2nd wife of vasudev( first one's name was Rohini).
Kans kill all 6 kids. 7th saved by rohini.. and named him as balaram. and 8th one is sri krishna.
krishna was taken care by nandrai and yashoda.
Yamuna River battle.
Krishna kill kans.
Coming back to Pandu. Pandu die while have love with madri as per his sin given by sage kindam .kunti left with 5 kids.
Vasudev is younger brother of kunti.Vasudev came to get them to mathura but couldnt.
Kunti and pandavas returned to Hastinapur.
Sage vyas asked to satyavati , ambalika and ambali to take hermitage.and asked dhrataraj to take care of pandavas & kunti.
Sage Vyas gave following punch lines to dhratarashtra as he always used to blame his fate.

Dronacharya who taught education about arms to kauravas and pandavas.And Karna was taught by Parshuram.
